You ask what the ranks mean? You want to know what suits you best? Well good. That is the next step, to becoming a member of this great pack. Still not sure if you want to join? Hear us out. The alphas. There are only two alphas, a male and a female and they are always mates. They are the leaders of the pack. they make decisions and lead the pack in every way. Betas, again a pair usually, being mates. Betas are second in command, and are highly respected by all. Knights are the fighters of the pack, the leaders lead the knights into battle at the alphas wishes. Hunters provide food for the pack, two lead this group on great journeys in search of food. The harvesters collect herbs, and gather the prey the hunters have killed. Harvesters are usually also the healers of the pack, but only one commands them all. Elders are like the alphas council. They guide and give them advice. Usually very grumpy as well. Pups the legacy of the pack. omegas the lowest members, usually scornfully treated and always eat last.
