History of the Valley

To start off, you know who we are. Riley and Rain. We are here to enlighten you about this wondrous area. So we start off with a bit of history. You don't like it? Sorry to hear, because we are already getting started. Not so long ago but long ago that some details may or may not be exaggerated lived a grand pack. A marvelous pack, a strong pack called the Valley Pack. It lived well; all prey here was bigger, stronger and better to eat than anything else. Herds were forced to cross during migration routes providing extra prey. Large mountainous ranges loom on either side of this great valley making any attack on the pack very difficult, nearly impossible. But... the mountains also served for something worse. Something that would destroy our ancestors. Who knows your bloodline may trace back to here. You want to know what happened? Well sit tight we are almost there. Where was I? Oh yes! The large mountains hold many dangers. Rock falls, avalanches, predators, rogues, killers and every so often humans. Well winter was very difficult for the Valley Pack as most prey stopped coming through. Their once beautiful Garden of Eden was now a barren land. But one year, one year it was worse. There was no prey and some wolves out of desperation of absolute hunger began to eat anything, including each other. Don't look at us like that, that part was true! If one died, or was close to dying the wolves would swarm and attack it, eating it. It was gruesome, horrifying. But there were wolves that resorted to less extremist measures. They ate plants and small rodents they could find. The great leaders saw their pack and were ashamed and how far things had gotten. The alpha male supported the idea of cannibalism while beta, his beta was different. The beta his name was Jinusean. He was a mighty wolf a large one and he had to eat but he would not eat other wolves. All of a sudden the sides started a fearsome battle. As the beta declined to eat what the alpha tried to force into him. It was cannibals against vegetarians now. Don't laugh. It was gruesome, horrible... the sides warred and any fallen wolf was eaten on the spot, by the cannibals. Then on a sudden day the beta and the alpha looked at each other and the beta slayed his leader. The war was done. But many more wolves had died because of this. The cannibals spread out far and wide never to be seen again, while the others remained. But things did not get better, oh no. Soon there was nothing, and we mean nothing to eat. So to stay away for what they had fought the wolves left the valley. Just left. Many died trying to escape the mountains and yet maybe some survived. Some had to survive for us to be here. That is right, we are the descendants of these wolves and we are back. We have returned to the valley, we have returned to its beauty and danger. We are ready to take it on, with all its hardships. Are you ready?

But that is not all. A new threat arises. As soon as the Valley pack settled a new group of wolves made their home farther north where things are hard and difficult. they call themselves the Black Poison Pack. They hate the Valley Pack and will do anything to destroy or kick them out of the Valley. Will you survive these hardships as well?
