The Den Site

[Watcher]

The den located in the side of a large rock outcrop looks quite small. But once inside it opens up to a grand cavern. In the far back, the river starts to grow, be careful pups can fall in. But it less than a muzzle deep. Outside the den, it is a grand forest with many trees. Wolves like to lie down on top of the den as it gives them a view all around.

[Riley]

Riley smiles and stretches out, straightening herself out and smiles, "A new day has begun." she barks as she looks over her shoulder at the den behind her.

[Rain]

Rain pads out of the den, blinking in the sudden bright sun. She smiles though and stretches, each leg in turn and then her back. The small female yawns, and sneezes her whole body shaking. Rain laughs, her chocolate brown eyes glittering in the light. Shaking the dew and dust from her pelt she looks around, sniffing the air slightly. Rain smiles and turns to her right. Riley. Rain sits down and scratches her ears while she thinks about the day ahead.

[Riley]

Riley, looks at Rain and smiles "Good morning Rain, I am assuming you slept well?" Riley smiled and scratched her side. Taking her paw the blue eyed wolf smacks a rabbit to the ground, she examines it and smiles "Don't worry, I won't eat you." she barks and lets the rabbit go, she nuzzles it to assure it that she is friendly and the rabbit hops away. Riley yawned.

[Rain]

Rain turns standing up and shaking herself once again. "Good morning, and yes it was a very good night sleep." Then again Rain never told anyone she had had a bad night sleep bu she had slept well, so she couldn't complain. She watches Riley and the rabbit and chuckles, "Awe you should have kept, I was going to eat it." Rain laughs and shakes her head, "I am only kidding." She smiles, the warm sun slowly peeking it way over the large mountains. Rain's breathing came as small puffs of vapor as she spoke and breathed normally. It was a chilly morning, but to Rain it was like any other as she still had her winter pelt. The female turned in a slow circle and looks about. What a wonderful day indeed. Rain smiles and gives a small woof of happiness as the sun keeps rising slowly.

[Riley]

Riley laughed, "I'm headin' to the Mountain Oasis, wanna come?"

[Rain]

Rain thinks about it and smiles, "Sure." Shaking out her pelt once more she smiles and begins to head off to the Oasis. "Need a drink or an early morning bath?" Rain laughs as she walks on.

-Mountain Oasis-

[Riley]

Riley smiled "Both. My fur is still grimy from the travel to the mountains." She barks and laughs, darting to the Oasis
~Mountain Oasis~

[Rajani]

The sunlight makes my closed eyelids look red as finally, I rise from my peaceful slumber. A soft whine can be heard from me as I rise stiffly and slowly. I stretch, my back snapping quite loudly. A grin takes over my dark face and my red eyes shine brightly. I limp out from underneath the bush I was sleeping under and sit down, smiling and enjoying the warmth of the sun on my dark pelt.

[Malcolm]

I come around the corner of the den, and look at Rajani, I freeze for a moment but I snapped out of it and approuched her, "Hello." I bark and wag my crooked tail.

[Rajani]

I look up my eyes closed slightly, enjoying the warmth. I see Malcolm and smile, "Good morning Malcolm. Wonderful morning is it not?" Once again I close my eyes and look up to the sun, the warmth of the sun tickling my face and making me smile. The swift breeze pulling gently at my fur. Nothing could be better.

[Malcolm]

I smile "It is much better now that your here." I bark smileing at her, I chuckle at the light snow on my webed toes.

[Rajani]

I can feel my ears grow hot in embarrassment. I look down, feeling bashful and gentle like butterfly wings in my stomach. I look up at him, surely there are prettier females than me, or well better at least. "Awe thanks." Is all I can answer to his compliment and words.

[Malcolm]

I smile "Want to head anywhere?" I get into a play bow and wag my crooked tail

[Rajani]

I smile once again, "Sure where do you want to go?" I stand up, slightly off balance and trip a bit before straightening myself out. I had always been missing my paw, well kind of but I still hadn't gotten used to it.

[Malcolm]

I smile "Perhaps the Mountain Oasis." I bark and stand up, I bark "Would you like to lean against me?"

[Rajani]

I smile, rather mischievously. "I have survived this long, I think I will manage. Thank you though." I start limping towards the oasis. "C'mon. A three paws wolf is going to beat ya to it." I smile and run off at incredible speeds.

[Malcolm]

I chuckle and gallop after her, my skin feels cool as the wind finds its way through my fur.

[Riley]

Riley dove under the den and crawled inside, she went to the back and licked up some water.

[Rain]

Rain followed Riley and sat down before standing and going to a seperate den over the small stream.

[Riley]

Riley turned around and trotted back to Rain.

[Rain]

Rain rummaged around the den and looked back at Riley. Rain sniffled and sneezed away from the stacked herbs. "Riley, how do your ankles feel?" She still sniffed around.

[Riley]

Riley spoke "Like they were mauled..." she laughed a little "Well its a burning pain and when I walk they feel sore, there was some black ooze but the blood washed it out."

[Rain]

Rain nodded, "okay. lie down will you, because if I can't fix them I'm going to have to bite them. off." Rain's voice sounded serious but she was kidding.

[Riley]

Riley laughed she could always tell a joke when she heard one, and she almost always had an upbeat aditude. she laid down as told
